If you use the municipal lot to drop off or pick up your child at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School, you’re going to need to make some changes.
The Township of Verona has contracted to do construction on Park Place, which is the small side street by Lakeside Deli that leads to the town lot. The work is scheduled to begin this week and is estimated to take four to five weeks to complete. A note sent out by the school says that access to Park Place will be “extremely limited” during the construction and that it will be better use to the Civic Center entrance or Gould Street to reach HBW.

1) limit parking on the Avenue between Terry’s and the Civic Center during drop-off and pick-up times
2) drop-off and pick-up on Lakeside Ave
Makes you wonder why they didn’t plan the construction during the summer when the school was empty.
