Essex Toastmasters, a local group that helps people develop public speaking skills, is holding another humorous speech competition this week. On Saturday, October 12, you can go to the Verona Library at 7 p.m. and deliver yours: One humorous speech – original or previously presented – lasting 5 to 7 minutes.
Toastmasters International is holding a series of contests for its Humorous Speech and Table Topics components. Winners will advance to a District-level contest, which will be held November 9, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza in Edison.
