The Verona High School boys cross-country team led by Matt Carroll continued their winning ways on Tuesday with victories over Cedar Grove and West Side high schools. The wins came one week after the boys had wins over Glen Ridge, Barringer and North 13th Street Tech high schools.
The boys had the following performances on the 5000m course this week: Matt Carroll, 18:52; Jim Cuddihy, 19:38; Ryan Ramsthaler, 19:42; Pat Cummings, 19:44; Chris Feury, 20:00; Brett Howell, 20:53; Brad Smith, 20:54; and Joey Volpe at 21:29. The boys next meet is next Tuesday, September 24 in Branch Brook Park against Orange, North 13th Street Tech and Shabazz.
