Nochimson-Martin-ApologyTown Manager Joe Martin apologized to Town Council member Michael Nochimson at Monday’s Council meeting for a late-night call in May that led Nochimson to file a criminal complaint against Martin.

“That was a mistake on my part,” Martin of the call. The apology stemmed from a mediation agreement reached between the two men last Thursday. “We agreed that our commitment to good things in Verona is more important than anything that has transpired in the past,” Martin told the Council.

Nochimson accepted the apology. “I appreciate your public apology,” he said to Martin at the meeting. “I forgive you completely and I look forward to working with you.”
