A free rabies vaccine clinic will be held on Tuesday, September 24, at the Verona Town Garage located on Ozone Avenue.
Dogs will be vaccinated between 6 and 6:45 p.m. and cats will be seen from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.
The rabies vaccine is recommended every two years (mandated every three years) and is necessary for animal licensure. Vaccinations are given by a licensed veterinarian.
Animals should not be fed prior to the clinic. No appointment is required and questions may be directed to the Verona Health Department, 973- 857-4800. The next clinic will be scheduled for Spring 2014.
