League To Hold Meeting On Human Trafficking

Trafficking300The League of Women Voters of the Montclair Area will hold a meeting for its members to create a position for LWVNJ on human trafficking on Thursday, September 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Union Congregational Church at 176 Cooper Street in Upper Montclair.

All members are urged to attend. If you are not a member, you can join and add your input. After the presentation, there will be a question/answer period. In human trafficking, people are coerced into years of forced prostitution, labor and drug activity.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that serves Bloomfield, the Caldwells, Cedar Grove, Clifton, Essex Fells, Glen Ridge, Little Falls, Montclair, Verona and West Orange. For more information, or to join, see its Web site.
