The Phillips-Edelman family is coping with the news that their youngest child, Angelina (3 ½) has stage 4 neuroblastoma. Only 500 children a year are diagnosed with this type of cancer. Angelina began treatment a few weeks ago, and the family needs help to raise money to offset the cost of her treatment and ongoing care.
In response to this need, restaurants in Verona, Cedar Grove and Caldwell are working together to help raise money. Beginning on July 8, different restaurants will be making donations on different days of the week, some for all business and some only when you dine at the restaurant. Simply write “Angelina” on your bill and the restaurants will make a donation to “Angelina’s Army“, as the fundraising effort is being called. The effort will run through the month of August.
Mondays: Anthony Franco’s, Avenue Bistro, Verona Pizza and Salugo (dine in, July only); Lombardi’s in Cedar Grove
Tuesday: Bagelwich, Frank Anthony’s (dine in), Verona Diner (dine in); in Caldwell, Luce and Casa Filippo (August only), both dine-in only
Wednesday: Bella Gente, O’Neil’s, Verona Inn; Caldwell Seafood and, in West Caldwell, Asian Delight
Thursday: Jack’s Cafe, Kate’s Kreations (both dine in); Giuseppi’s in Cedar Grove, Cloverleaf in Caldwell
Please visit these restaurants and help the family to help Angelina. Please feel free to contact Lori Lyon at (973) 856-0311 if you have any questions or would like more information.
