The Verona Rescue Squad has partnered with area businesses for an EMS Week fundraiser.
The squad is selling a sheet of discount coupons good at Henry’s Fine Foods, Lakeside Deli, Verona Pizza, All Breed Cat & Dog Grooming, American Cleaners, East Gate, Tiara Nails, Alberona Auto Clinic, Verona Chinese Kitchen, Towne Scoop and Healthy Food Asian Cuisine. The cost is $5 and coupons are good for various days during EMS Week, which is May 19 to 25.
The Verona Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer organization, and donations to fund its operations have been down substantially during the recession.
