This summer the New Jersey Basketball Academy will be offering local basketball camps at the Verona Community Center and Verona High School.
Session 1 is June 24 – 28, Session II is July 15 – 19, both at the VCC. There will also be a week at Verona High School, August 5 – 9. The camps are for boys and girls ages 7 – 15 and will operate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of each camp is $195.
Bill Maranz, a Verona resident, will direct the camps. Coach Maranz has thirteen years of coaching experience at the collegiate level in Division I, II and III as well as five years of professional coaching experience in the United States Basketball League (USBL).
