MyVeronaNJ-Police-SlideVerona Police apparently thwarted a burglary on Derwent Avenue just after noon today.

The police removed a male from a house mid-block in handcuffs. They are currently investigating whether the person can be connected to some break-ins that occurred recently on the south side of town.

The VPD has not yet sent a Nixle alert seeking information on the Derwent attempt. But if you know anything, you can call the desk at 973-239-5000.
