The Verona girls track & field team had several strong performances at the Essex County Relays on Friday at Livingston High School.
The distance medley team of Sarah Conboy, Colleen Farrell, Kelsey Attamante and Melanie Egan finish third with a time of 13:22. Gabby Mercurio and Cristina Calandra captured a fourth place finish with a combined jump of 16′. The 3 x 400m hurdle team of Marybeth Grund, Kelsey Attamante and Sarah Conboy took fifth place in a time of 3:36.9.
The conference championships will be Saturday, May 11 at Newark Schools Stadium.
