Coach Tom Gargiulo will be bringing his baseball and softball camps back to the Verona Community Center this summer. The camps are open to boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The Verona baseball camps will be held July 22 to 25 and July 29 to August 2. The Verona softball camp will be August 5 to 9. If you can’t make the Verona dates, Coach Gargiulo, a Nutley teacher who is an assistant baseball coach in Caldwell, will also run baseball camps in Nutley from July 8 to 12 and July 15 to 19.
The camps run 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The cost is $299, which includes skills and drill in the morning and instructional games in the afternoon. Lunch each day is provided by Frank Anthony’s Italian Restaurant and Deli. There is a 1:5 coach to player ratio.
