Mount St. Dominic Academy will be hosting an evening of wine and song, Taste of Broadway, on Saturday, April 27 at the Doris M Byrne Performing Arts Center on campus. The evening will include performances by Robert DuSold and Natalie Toro.
Ms. Toro most recently received accolades for the role she originated on Broadway portraying Madame Defarge in “A Tale of Two Cities.” She was the first American to play the role of Eponine in “Les Miserables” on Broadway and continued her career as Grizabella in “Cats”. Mr. DuSold’s Broadway and National Tour credits include Jason Green in “The Producers,” Javert and Valjean in “Les Miserables,” and Monsieur Andre in “Phantom of the Opera.” Each will perform a selection of pieces from their Broadway repertoire.
The wine tasting will begin at 6 p.m and includes a selection of choice wines from Fairchild’s Market in Roseland and an array of hors d’oeuvres. The performance begins at 8 p.m. The evening is being sponsored by Investors Bank and Millennium Communications Group Inc.
