5. Pancakes, Please: The Verona Boy Scouts, Troop 2, hold a pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 16, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at 10 Fairview Avenue. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and tea. The breakfast is $5 for adults and $4 for senior citizens and children 11 years of age and under. Proceeds will help fund Troop events including membership fees, camping trips, meetings, and the many educational activities the organization provides for the Scouts. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by e-mail.
