MyVeronaNJ-Test-PhotoVerona High School’s junior class will be taking the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) test later this week, and it’s going to mean some schedule changes for just about everybody.

UPDATE: This morning, MyVeronaNJ.com was sent a copy of the scheduling letter from February 2012, not 2013. The correct testing dates are Tuesday to Thursday, March 5, 6 and 7. We’ve corrected the story accordingly.

The class of 2014 reports at its usual 7:55 a.m. time on March 6, 7 and 8 March 5,6, and 7. Wednesday Tuesday is for the math section of the HSPA; the language arts test will be given on Thursday and Friday Wednesday and Thursday. By state law, students must pass the HSPA to graduate.

Here’s what happens to everybody else. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (March 6, 7 and 8) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 5, 6, and 7, VHS freshman, sophomores and seniors will be in school from 10 a.m. to 2:33 p.m. Freshmen should report to the old gym, sophomores go to the new gym, and seniors to the auditorium.

Tuesday, March 5 is a C Day, Wednesday, March 6 is D Day and Thursday is an A Day Schedule.
