World-ThinkingThe Girl Scouts of Verona and Cedar Grove are inviting their communities to attend an International Festival in honor of World Thinking Day on Sunday, February 24.

The local troops will represent 18 countries from around the globe with food, crafts, entertainment and more. School-aged children receive a passport at the door, which will be stamped by each country they visit.

Admission is $3 per person or $5 for a family, and Girl Scouts in uniform enter for free. The organizers are also asking that you bring a new, packaged toothbrush to donate to the children of Haiti.

The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church located at 10 Fairview Ave. in Verona. There is parking on the street and in the lot behind the church.
