Wrestling Victories In Bloomfield

Bloomfield High School hosted a nine-team wrestling tournament on Saturday, and there were trophies for three Verona High School wrestlers.

Seniors Frankie Greco and Joe Cordasco took first place in their weight classes, 182 and  170 pounds respectively. Paul Scully, a sophomore who wrestles at 126, took second place. The VHS team finished in seventh place overall with a score of 87.5.

The wrestling team has its first home meet of the season on Friday, January 4, against Irvington. The meet starts at 5 p.m.
