Kip’s Castle Open For Holiday House Tour

On Saturday, December 8, and Sunday, December 9, Essex County is holding its fourth annual Historic Holiday House Tour.

Thirteen Essex County historic sites will be decorated for the holidays and open to the public for a weekend tour. The tour includes Essex County Kip’s Castle in Verona, the Walther House at the Essex County Presby Memorial Iris Gardens in Montclair, Ballantine House at Newark Museum, Canfield-Morgan House and Museum in Cedar Grove, Force Homestead and Museum in Livingston, Glenmont at Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange, Grover Cleveland Birthplace in Caldwell, Kingsland Manor and the Nutley Museum in Nutley, Israel and Nathaniel Crane Houses and the Charles Shultz House-Evergreens in Montclair, and the Zenas Crane Homestead in West Caldwell. The public can visit each site at their own pace. Each site will offer something unique, including musical entertainment, refreshments or educational programs.
