The program for the conference remains the same with presentations, activities and resources to help caregivers stay healthy while shouldering the care of a family member or friend. The conference and all activities are free.

Caregivers will be able to attend the following three presentations:

  • Cooking for your health: Alma Schneider, LCSW, of Take Back the Kitchen, will share how to cook healthy, quick, economical meals. She will also provide practical tips for overcoming time management obstacles to cooking.
  • Being fit where you sit: Eydie Shapiro, owner of Comfort Keepers, will show how to benefit from yoga’s healing and restorative benefits while supported by a chair.
  • Positive state of mind: Ed Tseng, Mental Wellness Coach and author of “Game. Set. Life.” will teach how to access the focus, confidence and motivation to perform under pressure.
