The Fair in the Square is coming up on Saturday, December 1, and this year there’s going to be a horse-drawn wagon ride. Riders can board the wagon, which will be decorated for the holidays, behind Town Hall and be treated to a free ride along Gould Street from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The 16th annual Fair in the Square runs from noon to 5 p.m. and Santa will arrive for the holiday tree lighting at 4:30 p.m.

The event will kick off with holiday music by the Verona High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble directed by Judy Szybist. Returning are the popular ice sculpture demonstration, children’s workshop, photos with Santa (2 to 3:30 p.m., bring your camera), Moonwalk bouncy, and more. Find updates to the schedule of activities on the Verona Fair in the Square Facebook page.

Crafters, businesses and organizations interested in having a table at the Fair in the Square should contact Diana Vitrano at 973-857-1467 x15.
