The Hillbillies’ Thanksgiving Day football game is home this year, and it will be something of a homecoming: Verona will face Caldwell on the lower football field at VHS, which was the scene of Verona-Caldwell rivalries in the 1960s and 1970s.
The game starts at 10 a.m. and you’ve probably guessed already that parking will be tight. At halftime, there will be a ceremony honoring the VHS players who once used the lower field as their gridiron.
