Thank goodness someone is finally doing something in this town. I am new here and have never seen a town NOT pull together; Verona is exceptional in that it’s non-affected residents moved on like nothing is wrong, having their fancy toy poodles groomed and washing their fancy cars at the car wash. I drove down Bloomfield Avenue and saw the way people were carrying on. All of our neighbors on the street behind us have had power since day one and NONE of them have offered any of us anything. We are forced to see them all snug in their homes while we throw out all of our food and freeze in the dropping temperatures. I am ashamed to be a resident in this town.
