The volleyball team scored a big upset yesterday while avenging an early season loss to Columbia High School. After dropping the first game 25-18 to the Cougars, the Hillbillies stormed back to take the next two games 26-16 and 25-20. The win put the team at 9-9.

The girls tennis team suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of the West Orange Mountaineers yesterday in Verona. The Hillbillies were swept in singles matches, but they took both doubles matches where Caroline Chivily/Briana Tedesco won 6-4, 1-6, 6-2 and Gabrielle Brehne/Nell Karpinski were on top 3-1 before their opponent retired giving Verona the win.
