Mr. Roby F. Parker, 85, died on September 20, 2012 in Belleville. Memorial services will be held in the Verona United Methodist Church, 26 Montrose Avenue, Verona on Saturday, October 6 at 10:30 a.m.
Born in Allenwood, N.J., Mr. Parker lived in Ocean County for most of his life, moving to Hillsville, Va. for 15 years and to Verona eight years ago.
He graduated from Monmouth College and worked as a sales representative for Jersey Central Power & Light in Lakewood for 30 years, retiring in 1985.
Mr. Parker proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He is the husband of the late Clara W. Parker, the beloved father of Julie Parker and her husband, Markian Silecky and the doting grandfather of Matej Silecky.
