Mr. Roger Perrella, 64, died on Monday, September 24, 2012. Services will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Friday, September 28 at 10 a.m. Visiting on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Born in Newark, Mr. Perrella grew up in Verona and moved to Parsippany 20 years ago.
He has a degree in computer operations from Chubb Institute and worked as a computer operator for ABN-AMRO in Jersey City. Mr. Perrella is the husband of Ofelia Perrella, the step-father of Melissa and the brother of Edie Boutillier (and her husband, Raymond) and Christine Perrella (and her Life-partner Stephanie Huffman). He is also survived by his aunt, Addy Corcoran.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
I am sorry to hear about Roger’s passing. I knew him well in high school. He always reminded me of Jerry Garcia. I moved South in 1977 so have not seen him in a long time.
