Senior goalie Mike King’s nine saves in the net weren’t enough to stop the potent Nutley Raiders offense as the Hillbillies boys soccer team dropped their second match of the season 3-0 yesterday at Centennial Field. The Hillbillies fell behind 2-0 in the first half to the undefeated Nutley squad (6-0-1) and just couldn’t get their offense on track. The ‘Billie’s record stands at 2-2.

The volleyball team swept Barringer High School yesterday in an away match.

Today in Hillbilly Country, the girls soccer team is home against MKA and both the girls tennis team and the cross country team travel to Branch Brook Park. For the tennis team, it is Essex County Tournament match.
