The Caldwell College Division of Education will present “Technology Revolution in the Classroom” on Friday, October 26. The conference will offer workshops on promising technologies, creative teaching and inspiring examples for teachers in kindergarten through 12th grade.
The day will open with a continental breakfast and registration check-in at the Alumni Theatre from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Bruce Reicher, a technology teacher in Upper Saddle River, will deliver the keynote address, “Top 10 Free Technology Tool Websites,” from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
Session-one workshops will follow from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with session-two workshops running from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Participants can choose from among 12 workshops. Lunch will be served from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., when certificates will be presented. A drawing for an iPad will be held during lunch.
The $75 registration fee will cover conference attendance, two workshops, five professional development hours, breakfast, lunch and materials.
