CulinAriane Hosts California Wine Dinner

Chad Melville, owner and winemaker of Melville Winery in California, is coming to CulinAriane for a wine-pairing dinner tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 5, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. The vintner is known for his California Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and you can sample both at the dinner.

For her part, Verona star chef Ariane Duarte has put together a menu that begins with appetizers and chilled summer corn soup with crab meat, and continues with a fennel pollen-dusted salmon, seared Rohan duck from D’Artagnan and a roasted Australian lamb sirloin.

The event is being co-sponsored by Amanti Vino and you can make your reservation by e-mailing Sharon at the Montclair wine store or calling the shop at (973) 509 -WINE. The cost is $60 for food and $40 for wine.
