Mr Thomas Crain Yeaton, 80, an avid golf and Phillies fan, died on Friday, August 31, 2012 in Cedar Grove. Graveside services will be held in the Woodbridge Memorial Garden in Woodbridge on Tuesday, September 4 at 12:30 p.m.

Mr. Yeaton was a lifelong Verona resident, graduating from Verona High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 and in the Reserves until 1960. Mr. Yeaton worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Montclair for 30 years.

He was predeceased by his brother James P. Yeaton and is survived by his sister-in-law, Joan M. Yeaton, his niece Virginia A. Yeaton, his nephew William T. Yeaton (and his wife, Joan), a grand-niece, Karen J. Hampton (and Daniel) and a grand-nephew Thomas M. Yeaton (and Jaana Tuomala).
