French Fast Food At Epernay

Verona’s restaurant rules frown on fast food, but one of our Verona neighbors has made it possible to get French fast food in Montclair.

Franco Del Barba has just added a quick-serve window to his bistro Epernay and called it, appropriately enough, Vite (that’s French for fast).

French fast food includes sweet and savory crepes, croque monsieur and croque madame sandwiches, pastries and family-style meals to take home. Prices start at $4 and stay in the reasonable range.

Vite is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m.  to 10 p.m. The take-out spot and Epernay are located at 6 Park Street, just north of Bloomfield Avenue and across from the Montclair YMCA.
