The summer sports camps in Verona have certainly see their share of stars this summer. Anthony Fasano and Dan DePalma turned up at Coach Lou Racioppe’s football camp last month, and yesterday, New York Yankees’ pitcher CC Sabathia brought his Baseball ProCamp to the VHS field.
The five-time All Star talked fundamentals and strategy during the half-day camp, and generally wowed the crowd. Sabathia will be back on the mound in the Bronx tonight, when the Yankees take on the Mariners.
