Don’t Click On Pop-Ups

We’ve had a report from a reader that he was getting a pop-up when he was on MyVeronaNJ.com that his computer has been infected and he should click on the pop-up to fix it.

We have run a Google Diagnostic which shows no infection, and our host is running a separate scan to confirm.

We have, however, as a precaution turned off a few things on the site until we can be absolutely sure that we are clean.

We’ll keep you posted, but in the meantime, do not click on pop-ups.

UPDATE: We’ve run all our diagnostics and our tech partners have done the same, and we have gotten a clean bill of health. To clear things up on your end, go into your browser and delete your history. And please, if you ever a warning like that again, call us immediately at 973-632-4015 or send an email to [email protected]. We don’t like Internet junk any more than you do!
