Verona native Alex Teves was among those killed at the movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colo. on July 20. Yesterday, his father Tom Teves, who grew up in Verona, spoke with CNN’s Anderson Cooper about Alex, and what he wants from crime reporting going forward.

I agree with Mr. Teves’s statement. CNN accept his challenge. Make these cowards fade into non existence by not giving them the air time they want.
i was saddened to hear about the son of Mr. Teves, I worked for tom teves almost 20 years ago at the canteen corp in roseland prudential. he was without question one of the best bosses to work for, a streight from the hip kind of guy.easy to work for never looking down on any emloyee. over the years i have reflected on my time spent there. i always thought of him and the 20 plus co workers i used to work with. he always talked about his son, down to toms river and time spent with his family. i am truly sorry for the loss but with time i pray he stands firm for himself and family. he and his family are in my prayers. kevin sozek-montclair, nj
