The Verona Baseball & Softball championship game for the Pony League was played on Monday, June 18, pitting the Hardbodyz Fitness Mets against the Eight Hills Caterers Tigers.
The Tigers came into the match-up undefeated, but they did not go home that way: The 4-3 win went to the Mets.
