This past Sunday, June 17, SJ Carney Roofing donated a check for $220 to the Verona Children’s Fund. At the start of the Verona Baseball & Softball league season, SJ Carney Roofing had pledged to donate $10 for every home run hit by fifth and sixth grade boys at Everett Field.
Several players contributed to the success of the home run challenge. Steven Priscoe and Andrew Sieglin each had four home runs; CJ Lavery and Adam Kazanfer knocked out three apiece; Ian Metzger had two; and Jason Sieglin, Matt Dillane, Gabriel Quagliata, Dario Spina, Joey Zecchino and Robert Coppola each added one.
