On July 14, Miami Dolphins tight end and Verona native Anthony Fasano is hosting the 4th Annual Anthony Fasano Bocce Bash at Verona Park. Fasano, along with the support of his foundation, family and friends from Verona, will donating four permanent bocce courts in the park.
For the past three years, Fasano has hosted the Bocce Bash in Montville because the bocce facilities in Verona Park could not support an event of this size. After this project is finalized, the Bocce Bash will be annual event held in Fasano’s hometown park every summer. The courts are being built the weekend of June 29 through July 1.
The Anthony Fasano Foundation Bocce Bash is a double elimination bocce tournament is limited to 16 teams. You can enroll a team or become a sponsor by clicking here.
Visitors and spectators are welcome at the Bocce Bash. There will be food and beverages on site for purchase provided by local restaurants. Food and beverage for all tournament participants will be included in the team entry fee, along with a t-shirt.
