Montclair Kimberley Academy will host a Summer Jazz Jam for students entering grades 5 to 8 from July 23 to 27.
This intensive week-long program, led by MKA’s Middle School Band Director Linda Larkin with assistance from professional musicians Matt Patuto, Rob Henke and Andy McKee, takes young musicians who are comfortable with their instruments through a series of master classes, music theory and ensemble work, culminating with a public performance on the afternoon of July 27.
