Piano Recital Coming Up

Sixteen young piano students, most from Verona, will perform at the annual student piano recital presented by Michael Palmieri at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Montclair on Saturday, June 9, at 2 p.m.

Devyn Bevilacqua, a H. B. Whitehorne Middle School seventh grade student, will play “Sonatina Op. 36, No. 1, Mo. 1” by M. Clementi.

Sean Buzaid will perform “Sonata Op. 49, No. 2, Mo. 1” by L. van Beethoven. Sean is a tenth grade pupil at Seton Hall Prep.

Catherine Cordero, another H. B. Whitehorne Middle School seventh grader, will play “Knight Ruppert” by R. Schumann.

David Cordero will play “Happy Song” by M. Palmieri. David attends Lanning School, where he is in the fourth grade.

Jacob Facey, who is in twelfth grade at Verona High School, will play “Fantasia K. 475” by W. A. Mozart.

Laryssa Horodysky is a seventh grade pupil at Our Lady of the Lake School. She will play “Spinning Song” by A. Ellmenreich.

Jenni Lyon, another seventh grader attending Our Lady of the Lake School, will play “Ecossaise in G” by L. van Beethoven.

Daniel Molloy will play “Sonate Pathetique Op. 13, Mo.1” by L. van Beethoven. Daniel is in eleventh grade at Verona High School.

M. J. Mughetto, a Seton Hall Prep tenth grade pupil, will be playing L. van Beethoven’s “Sonatina No. 1, Mo. 1”.

Michael Mughetto, a seventh grader at Our Lady of the Lake School, will play “Arabesque” by F. Burgmuller.

Abigail Nochimson is a fifth grade student at H. B. Whitehorne Middle School. She will play “German Dance” by F. J. Haydn.

Molly Nochimson, a seventh grade pupil at H. B. Whitehorne Middle School, will play “Sonatina Op. 36, No. 1, Mo. 3” by M. Clementi.

Brendan Wallace, who is in sixth grade at H. B. Whitehorne Middle School, will play “Sonatina”, by D. Kabelevsky.

Mary Elizabeth Wallace, a third grade student at Forest Ave. School, will play “Minuet in G” by J. S. Bach.

Magdalena Botrous, who attends Our Lady of the Lake School, where she is in seventh grade, will play “F. Chopin’s Prelude Op.28, No. 4”.

Nicole DeJoseph, who is in ninth grade at Lacordaire Academy, will play “Fur Elise” by L. van Beethoven.

Michael Palmieri, a professional musician, composer and Verona / Cedar Grove piano teacher for 35 years has, since 1981 and until this year, annually presented his pupils at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
