Juniors Selling Discount Card

The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona will be selling a wallet-sized card that holds discounts to 23 local businesses. Discounts range from 10 % to 20% off for businesses including PostNet, Verona Pizza, Hobcaw Cafe, Bagelwich, Lakeside Deli, The Verona Inn, Frank Anthony’s, Bella Nails and Spa, Forte Pizzeria & Ristorante, Verona Yoga and Wellness Center, Lapel’s Dry Cleaners, Cloverleaf Tavern, Avenue Bistro, Trattoria Bella Gente, Mardi Gras Catering, Portray Salon, Subway (45 Bloomfield Avenue location only), O’Neil’s Restaurant and Pub, Jack’s CafĂ©, and Rockn’ Joes. In addition, Clearview Cinemas is offering a free medium drink with the purchase of a medium popcorn, The Towne Scoop will take 50 cents off an order and J.T.’s Barbershop will discount a haircut by $1. Some exclusions apply and are detailed on the discount card.

The card costs $20, or $18 for senior citizens, and can be used repeatedly from from June 1 to November 30.  You can buy a card beginning June 1 by e-mailing Kate Kelly or calling 860-306-1688. You can also buy the discount card online.

Sales of the card will help the Junior Woman’s Club raise the funds for its work within the community and beyond. The club helps families in need, supports Verona’s first responders, awards scholarships, cares for our senior citizens, funds school grants and supplies, and supports a variety of local, national and international humanitarian organizations.
