On Monday, Verona’s Memorial Day parade kicks off from Everett Field at 10 a.m. and heads to the center of town for ceremonies in front of Town Hall. (If you want to learn more about the soldiers who will be remembered on Memorial Day, Rob Caruso has put together this tribute to Verona’s heroes.)

For Memorial Day weekend, the Verona Pool is open from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.

All government offices are closed Monday, as is the Post Office. For updates on the holiday weekend plans of Verona businesses, see our new site, ShopVerona.com.
