The Verona-Cedar Grove Chorus is gearing up for its 2012 Spring Concert, to be held on Sunday, May 20, at 4 p.m. at Verona High School.
The chorus will perform a medley from “Phantom of the Opera” along with other choral highlights including Mozart’s “Alleluia”, as well as a compilation of popular music, jazz and other Broadway tunes.
The Verona-Cedar Grove Chorus is comprised of vocalists from local townships and has been showcasing its talents for over 60 years. Denise Bastanza is the musical director and Paul Villarreal is the accompanist.
Tickets for the show are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors. For more information, see the group’s Web site.
