Mrs. Sharon C. (nee Pritchard) Mauro, 54, died on May 1, 2012 in Virginia Beach, Va. Graveside services will be held in the Restland Memorial Park, DeForest Avenue, East Hanover on Saturday, May 5 at 11 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Born in Orange, Mrs. Mauro lived in Verona prior to moving to Virginia 22 years ago. She is the mother of Brian and Thomas Mauro, the daughter of Carole M. and William F. Pritchard, Sr., the grandmother of Kayla and the sister of William Pritchard, Jr., Chuck Pritchard, Carole DiMaggio and the late Alan Dennis.

I was shocked. Stunned. And very saddened to see this here on line tonight. I ” spoke” to Sharon online countless times the last 6 months. I was so glad to reconnect with her on FB. My deepest, heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to the Pritchard and Mauro families. I will surely miss her funny, compassionate, encouraging memos/ forwards to all of us her FB ” family”/ friends. Can’t believe she is gone so quickly from us and so young. Sharon LOVED her sons and new grandbaby Kayla. She loved animals. She loved life. And loved period. She will be sorely missed by us all. Family Reunion has started in Heaven. Love to you my little rad haired Irish woman friend. Till we meet again. And then no one’s gonna take that time away. We can visit as long as we like!
