Mrs. Cirigliano reads to the children at Brookdale School library during Scholastic’s One for Books Program.

On April 12, 2012, Brookdale Avenue School held its spring book fair and turned it into a show of support for those outside the school through the  Pajama Program. Brookdale asked students to bring in new pajamas and/or donations to purchase discounted books from the fair for donation.

The Pajama Program is a non-profit organization that provides new pajamas and new books to children in need, many of whom are waiting for or hoping to be adopted.
