On April 10 from 3:30 to 5 p.m., girls from H.B. Whitehorne Middle School will once again offer free, one-on-one computer training to Verona seniors.
The BEST Club, a self-esteem program for girls at HBW, will demonstrate computer basics (using a mouse and keyboard), as well as how to create an e-mail account, navigate the Internet safely, send text messages over cell phones, and more. The program is sponsored by the Verona LIVE senior citizens program and the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee.
The training will take place in the media lab at HBW. You must register to participate by calling 973-830-0096.
