United Way of Northern New Jersey Young Professionals are collecting new and gently used prom dresses and accessories for their fourth annual Prom Dress Collection. Now through April 17, area residents can drop off donations locally at the United Way Building in Montclair.

The drive is designed to help offset the high cost of attending a high school prom for northern New Jersey teens whose families are struggling to make ends meet. In addition to dresses, donations of costume jewelry, purses, shoes, and new cosmetics are welcome.

Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.at the United Way Building, Room 208, 60 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair.
