This Sunday March 11, Pam Garcia will be hosting a “cut-a-thon” at her business, Portray Salon, in memory of Kellie Swanstrom, who died in February. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Haircuts will be $20, and red extensions will be $15.
But even if you don’t need a cut or a new look, you can support the event by buying one of the T-shirts, shown here, which will be available for $15. All proceeds will be donated to a college trust fund that has been set up for the Swanstrom children.
Portray Salon is located at 121 Grove Street in Montclair. No appointments are needed for the fundraiser. If you can not attend but would like to make a donation, make your check out to the Brady and Caroline Swanstrom College Trust and mail it to Portray or directly to the Fund at P.O. Box 1, Millburn, N. J. 07041.
