“Little Shop of Horrors” starts tomorrow night at Verona High School and MyVeronaNJ.com brought its video camera to the dress rehearsal yesterday to bring you a preview.
The song in the video below is called “It’s Just The Gas” and it really is just a gas to watch (as is the whole show!). You’ll have to do a minor bit of imagining since Austin Williams, who plays the evil dentist Orin, was without one key prop at the rehearsal.
In addition to Williams, the cast includes Michael Hardenberg as Seymour, Gabi Latimer as Audrey, and Filip Babalievsky as Mr. Mushnick. Evan Yee is the puppeteer inside Audrey II, the giant plant pictured above, and Alex Karpinski gives her quite a domineering voice.
The show will be performed on Thursday, Friday and, Saturday, March 1-3, at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.
