Verona High School freshman Julia Ashley ended her winter track season on a very high note by finishing fifth in the 800M at the State Indoor Meet of Champions on Saturday in a time of 2.17.1. Her performance is a school record. Ashley is the first Verona girl to place at the Indoor Meet of Champions and one of only two ninth graders to place in the meet.
