On February 9, the Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence hosted its second annual Wine Paring dinner at Avenue Bistro Pub. Guests were treated to four courses of amazing food expertly prepared by Chef Michael DiIonno, Verona’s champion of the Food Network show “Chopped”. Each course was coupled with a different wine.
The event served to celebrate the work VFEE has done over the past 5 years, providing teachers with $115,000 in approved grants that allow them to creatively enhance Verona’s public school curriculum.
