The Linke children

Kristin Linke is a Verona mom with three children, two of whom are affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. To raise awareness of the muscle-wasting disease, she is organizing what promises to be a fun-filled fundraiser at Funplex on Saturday, March 3.

For just $20, your child can get unlimited Go Karts or Foam Frenzy, plus unlimited Lazer Runner, Free Fall, 4D Theater, Super Twister and Bumper Cars. If you buy your entry bracelet in advance of the event, you will also be entered to win $20 in tokens.

The event starts at 1 p.m. and the raffle will be drawn at 2 p.m. To get your entry bracelet, contact Linke at 201-306-2878 or by email. If you can’t go the Funplex event, but want to support research into muscular dystrophy in other ways, see the Linkes’ Web site. Funplex is located in East Hanover; you can get directions here.
